Life can be busy and chaotic, and everyone says “slow down and smell the roses”. Well, if you had a chance to do that, would you?! My husband & I did 17 years ago when we found our little piece of paradise at Bloom Resorts. There’s nothing like being surrounded by Mother Nature, jumping in the lake, having a bonfire on a moonlit night, partaking in the activities/events that happen all summer long or being on the beach/in the water all day long. This is our eighth season at this location and we have progressed from a travel trailer to a mobile home. The uniqueness of the park is the biggest feature for us. A swimmable lake and beaches provides an area for our kids and grandchildren to play. We spend most of the season here and enjoy the friendships we have developed.

We have raised our children in this park and now our grandchildren are learning how to fish and swim in the beautiful lakes. Bloom Resorts Georgian Bay has everything a camper needs: lakes to swim in, boating and fishing, laundry, showers, playground, and especially ice cream at the store. The staff go beyond to prep the beaches, clean the showers/washrooms and help plan different events. Tye Dye is a hit with my granddaughters and the kids fishing derby is great for even the youngest. The sites are amazing and come in all different sizes and shapes. We are in an amazing woodland park and hope it stays this way for years to come.

Bloom Resorts Huntsville is no longer our three season getaway, but our three season home. You can't help but feel at home once you enter the main office or drive through the gated oasis. We are always greeted by a warm smile and a sincere "hello." Whether we are relaxing on our deck, boating serene waterways, playing pickleball, or enjoying lasting friendships in the Recreation Hall, Bloom Resorts Huntsville has something for everyone. Just like home.

Three years ago we decided to purchase a brand new park model from Bloom Resorts Huntsville. Our previous neighbours, who are more like family, had bought before us and convinced us to come see for ourselves. With three grandsons and my own children, it wasn't hard to convince us to be part of this amazing park. In the past three years we've made so many precious memories. Everyone at the park, from management to staff to guests, has been so welcoming and accommodating. I've loved watching my grandsons embrace the park by riding bikes, looking for frogs, playing at the park, swimming, roasting marshmallows, and making new friends. We plan on making many more memories in the years ahead.
